Melbourne Bike Share aims to provide a fast, flexible, sustainable and healthy public transport alternative and is available to everyone in Melbourne’s CBD.

The bike share scheme is intended for short trips around the CBD and aims to increase the number of people cycling in Melbourne.

There are now 51 stations across the inner city and an average of 550 bikes.

7-Eleven and IGA now have helmets available to hire or buy from selected stores throughout the city and Docklands.

Melbourne Bike Share is operated by RACV.
