Technical consulting is the centre of technical engineering expertise within VicRoads. It provides expert consultancy and advice in the areas of pavements, road construction materials, geotechnical, civil and traffic engineering and road, bridge and landscape design.
Technical consulting’s primary role is to support the delivery of the VicRoads program. It also provides services to other government departments, local government and the private sector. Technical consulting relies heavily on the specialist knowledge of its staff to develop technical capability across VicRoads and contributes to the management of technical risk to deliver quality and fit-for-purpose infrastructure.
