EastLink is the new tollway between Mitcham and Frankston, connects the Eastern, Monash and Frankston Freeways, and bypasses more than 45 traffic lights.
EastLink is Australia’s largest road development and was delivered by the private sector under the Victorian Government’s Partnerships Victoria framework.
EastLink, formerly known as the Mitcham-Frankston Freeway, is Melbourne's second fully-electronic tollway, comprising about 39km of freeway-standard road connecting the city's eastern and south-eastern suburbs.

Drivers on the following existing roads are asked to take care when merging with traffic from EastLink:
- Springvale Road City bound entry ramp Eastern Freeway
- Both carriages of Monash Freeway
- Exit ramp from city bound carriageway of the Monash Freeway onto Police Road
- South bound carriageway of the Frankston Freeway
