VicRoads has developed a levy funded seminar, ‘Making Roads Motorcycle Friendly’ to help all those involved in road design, construction and maintenance make roads safer for motorcyclists.
The two hour multimedia seminar includes information about road design, construction and maintenance plus keeping road works safe for motorcyclists. Attendees receive a kit of materials (guide, brochure and DVD) so their colleagues can also be trained.
More than 400 staff from local government and VicRoads, plus contractors, consultants and utility providers have attended the VicRoads seminars.
