Terms and Conditions: Heavy Vehicle Network Maps Applications

  1. This heavy vehicle network map application (the Application) is provided as a visual guide to show heavy vehicle access conditions and minimum clearance of structures on the Victorian declared road network. Changes in circumstances after the time the information was captured may impact the accuracy of the information. While VicRoads does its best to update the information in a timely manner, it does not warrant that the information provided by the Application is accurate, current or complete, or suitable for your needs. The presence of a sign posted height clearance at any location must be adhered to and complied with, and overrides those provided in the Application should they differ.  If you need to obtain authoritative information about height clearance consult VicRoads.

  2. To the extent permitted by law, VicRoads excludes liability for any loss (including loss from viruses, or consequential damage) caused by use of or reliance on the Application.

  3. Copyright in the Application, and in any maps or information provided by the Application, belongs to VicRoads. Subject to clause 4, you may reproduce, use, publish or adapt this material, provided that:

    • You acknowledge VicRoads as the copyright owner.
    • The material is not modified for use in any way.
    • There are no specific overriding copyright conditions relating to the material.
    • You do not charge anyone for use of the material.
    • You gain the permission of any third party that holds copyright in material presented on this website.

  4. Access to the Application is only provided for your personal use. You may not sell or rebrand information obtained from the Application without VicRoads’ written permission, nor represent that the information is from a source other than VicRoads.

  5. Use of the Application is currently free of charge, but VicRoads may make it fee-paying in the future and charge a fee from that time.

  6. You may link to the application, with VicRoads' written permission (which VicRoads may withhold in its absolute discretion). The Application may only be shown in full screen format, and may not include or be framed by advertising or any other information.
