Get a photo taken for a firearm or private security licence

You can have your photo taken for your firearm or private security licence at VicRoads Customer Service Centres and approved photo points.

You can't pay for the licence or renewal at VicRoads so you need to have paid before you come in to have your photo taken.

Before the photo is taken you'll be asked to show evidence that you've paid and show your current driver, firearm or private security licence.

If you can't provide these documents as proof of identity, you'll need to provide other evidence of identity documents, including a photograph of yourself.
