Privacy Collection Notice

VicRoads (R&L Services Victoria Pty Ltd) is committed to protecting the privacy of your personal information. We handle your information in accordance with the Privacy and Data Protection Act 2014 (Vic), the Health Records Act 2001 (Vic) and Part 7B of the Road Safety Act 1986 (Vic).

To obtain your Digital Driver Licence (DDL), you must have a myVicRoads account and have downloaded the myVicRoads app. We will use information from your myVicRoads account to provide you with secure access to your DDL via the myVicRoads app. If you do not agree to our use of your personal information for this purpose, we cannot deliver your DDL. You can continue to use your hard copy driver licence.

When you login to the myVicRoads app, you must enter your myVicRoads account username and password. You also need to authenticate yourself using a six-digit PIN that we will send to you.

Once you have logged in to your myVicRoads app, you will be able to access your DDL. You control who can view your DDL and what information you disclose, using a QR code. VicRoads does not monitor your use of the DDL, nor is any personal information retained in the DDL.
