Get a photo taken for your licence

Once you have received your payment notice from Victoria Police and paid the fee, you'll need to get your photo taken. You can do this at a VicRoads Customer Service Centre or photo point.

What to bring:

  • your current driver, firearm or private security licence
  • proof that you’ve paid for your licence.

If you don’t have these, you'll need to bring other evidence of identity documents to prove who you are.

Remember you can't pay for the licence at VicRoads - you need to pay Victoria Police. Payment details will be on the payment notice Victoria Police sent you.
